There is this product called ‘GOO BE GONE’. It sounds corny but it really works. It won’t mess up the glass in any way. Also another product called Invisible glass. It is made by a company called Stoner. Speaking from personal experience, both work great.
use a razor blade
well you can use any fine compound. We use heavly deluted ajax cleanser and a sponge. Even the very fine jewlers polish or turtle wax white fine polishing coumpound. . Works wonders for us.
A damp towel dipped in dish detergent will do it!
My suggestion is apply a " Bug and Tar " remover, whereas the rubber from the blades will come off just as road tar ( I have removed melted heel rubber from my motorcycle mufflers with it ).
0000 steel wool, which is four ott steel wool.
GOO BE GONE. It works on everything.
000steel wool will take it off and won’t scratch the glass.
