Light Chrome Trim
How do you paint the plastic on the outside of a truck?
I have a ranch/work/mudding/hunting truck and I want to paint it completely flat black. The only thing I am not painting is the lights and windows (and maybe some of the trim pieces that are already black but you get the point). But the main reason for this question is for the grille because it is that chrome looking layer on a piece of plastic.
Ok I knew about the krylon paint but do I need to peel off that crome looking plastic off of the main piece?
Ok let me explain this more clearly. The piece IS NOT chrome. It is a chrome looking plastic.
Any time paint is applied to plastic,chrome,or other materials that do not work well,an adhesion tie coat product is needed.This is a popular brand used by professional painters.
